Launchpad created a staff learning portal to support the accessibility of Birkbeck’s learning materials. The success of the project has led to Birkbeck making the resource available to all universities.

Birkbeck for All provides academic staff with easy to follow guidance on how to create accessible learning materials to enhance student learning. Accessible means that the materials can be accessed by students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties (SpLDs), such as dyslexia.

Making these small but important changes make materials clearer and more easily understandable, which is of benefit to all students, not just those with disabilities.
